1. Ownership of the Website and Products
This website (https://OrthodoxToys.com and all associated content are owned and operated by Orthodox Toys, a family-run workshop based in British Columbia, Canada. All books, icons, music, educational sets, wooden toys, product photos, descriptions, and related materials are the intellectual property of Orthodox Toys and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without prior written permission. The name and brand “Orthodox Toys” may not be used without authorisation.
2. Eligibility and Age Restrictions
Account holders and purchasers must be at least 18 years old.
Our products are intended for families, parents, and educators.
Safety notice: All Orthodox Toys products may contain small parts and are not suitable for children under 5 years of age. Some products are designed for ages 10+. All products require adult supervision when used by young children. Orthodox Toys is not responsible for misuse of products.
3. Orders, Payment, and Production Time
We accept all major credit cards via secure payment processing.
Full payment must be made in advance before an order can be prepared or shipped.
Some products are handmade and may require 4–8 weeks of preparation before shipment. Estimated timeframes are provided at checkout.
4. Shipping, Customs, and Delivery
Orders are shipped from Canada via Canada Post.
For U.S. customers, most products qualify for duty-free entry under the USMCA agreement. We use Delivered Duties Paid (DDP) shipping, so no additional customs fees apply.
Buyers outside the U.S. are responsible for any customs duties, VAT, or import taxes that may apply.
Orthodox Toys is not responsible for delays caused by customs or carriers.
Risk of loss passes to the buyer once the order has been handed over to the shipping carrier.
5. Returns and Exchanges
Returns or exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery.
Items must be returned in their original condition.
The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs and any loss in value if the product is not returned in its original condition.
Custom or personalized orders may not be eligible for return.
6. Intellectual Property Rights
All content on this website — including text, images, designs, icons, music, books, and wooden toy designs — is protected by copyright © Orthodox Toys.
No materials may be copied, reproduced, resold, or distributed without written permission.
Resale of Orthodox Toys products requires prior approval from Orthodox Toys.
7. Limitation of Liability
Orthodox Toys’ liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.
Orthodox Toys is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our products.
All toys and educational products are not suitable for children under 5 years old and require adult supervision. Orthodox Toys disclaims responsibility for misuse.
8. Prohibited Conduct
Buyers may not create false accounts, attempt fraud, or otherwise abuse the website.
Orthodox Toys reserves the right to cancel any order or ban any account in cases of fraud, abuse, or inappropriate conduct.
9. Modification of Terms
Orthodox Toys may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time without prior notice. Updates will be posted on https://OrthodoxToys.com and continued use of the store constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia, Canada.
All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of British Columbia.
