Learning About the Church and Its Traditions

Have you ever wondered why an Orthodox Church looks the way it does? Why do some doors have icons, and why are some walls covered with icons? Why is there a special table behind the iconostasis, and what happens there during Divine Liturgy?
We wanted our children to understand not just what happens in church, but why. That’s why we created a whole set of educational toys that help explain the meaning behind the Church’s beauty and structure. These are some of the very first toys we made, and they are still among our favorites.
